The Oak and the Acorn Cafe is located at Journey School in Aliso Viejo. The school follows the traditional Waldorf system created by Rudolf Steiner, and is one of the fastest growing educational systems in the world. Their principles and philosophies are based upon building better human beings and when you discover more about this way of life it makes you realize how important this is in our world today. It is upon this sense that you can understand how the parents and children are naturally guided into an organically influenced life. They have a deep sense of nature and respect our environment by conducting themselves as praiseworthy citizens of Earth.

Local hands go into making the products sold in this quaint little shop. It is almost like stepping back in time when you enter this place and are greeted by some of the actual artists themselves, with warm smiles and open hearts. It is one of my favorite places to visit and what I find most enjoyable is the fresh coffee and homemade goods offered right at the front door.
